The app shows different steps than I was taught
Settings has a switch between Bare Minimum, which shows only what is required for the prayer to be valid, and Complete Steps, which adds the recommended practice. Try the other one.
I want to hide the Arabic, or show only the meaning
Settings has separate switches for Arabic, transliteration and translation. Turn off any combination you do not need.
How do I see tayammum instead of wudu?
Turn off "Water available" in Settings. The purification guide switches to tayammum, the dry purification used when water cannot be found or cannot be used.
Is the qibla direction accurate?
The direction is calculated from the city you choose, using the great circle bearing to the Kaaba. It does not use your device location or compass, so it will not drift near metal. Facing the general direction is enough when precision is not possible.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Prayer Guide makes no network requests at all.
Steps follow the Quran and the practice of the Prophet, with sources named on individual steps, drawn from the collections of Bukhari, Muslim and Abu Dawud. If you believe something is inaccurate, please report it and cite the source so it can be checked.
